Paperless Warehouse systems

Bam Wine Logistics use a paperless warehouse technique – Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for performing warehouse functions such as picking, receiving stock and moving stock within the warehouse. This provides Bam Wine Logistics with increased efficiencies to ensure accurate picking and receiving of product by scanning product barcodes and the real-time updates of all stock records.

EDI Capability

Bam Wine Logistics currently use EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) techniques for order processing. Customer orders are directly sent through to our WMS for processing. The WMS is capable of integrating with a number of ERP platforms through EDI.  This system then allows us to reduce our labour cost which we can then pass on the savings to our customers.

Scan Pack and SSCC label functionality

The software provides Bam Wine Logistics with the added advantage of being able to conform to the delivery requirements of the major retail stores such as Woolworths and Coles. BAM Wine Logistics have the capability to produce a SSCC label for each logistics unit delivered into a Woolworths DC.

The implementation of Scan pack will provide the added benefit to our clients to trade electronically with Coles.
