Bam Wine Logistics will treat the environment in a manner which is respectful, consistent with community expectations and intended to minimise adverse effects on the natural environment for the benefit of current and future generations.

Bam Wine Logistics acknowledges a requirement to be a good corporate citizen and to act consistently at all times with both community expectations and legislative requirements.

Bam Wine Logistics recognize the importance of conducting everyday operations in a manner which will reduce the company’s environmental footprint.

Bam Wine Logistics acknowledges that the logistics industry and freight transport especially is a significant contributor to Greenhouse emissions and climate change.

Policy Execution

Application of the Bam Wine Logistics Customer Service Policy is by execution of the following processes.

BAM Wine Logistics will:

Equal or exceed the compliance requirements of all environmental Local, State and Commonwealth legislation;

• Reduce waste and landfill by recycling paper, plastic products and printer cartridges where possible;

• Purchase recycled products where possible, or otherwise engage with suppliers who have environmental policies consistent with those of BAM;

• Promote a culture of responsible environmental management;

• Seek to continually improve efficiency to achieve Greenhouse Gas abatement;

• Participate fully in carbon offset schemes should they be offered by airlines or other service providers used for the purposes of travel;

• Ensure that company personnel traveling interstate hire the smallest vehicle which will reasonably meet their requirements.Hybrid vehicles will be hired when available.
